Congratulations to East Side Boys Basketball and Central Girls Basketball Teams for winning the 2019 NBOE Annual Holiday Basketball Tournament!
NBOE 2019 Ultimate Toy Drive
It is with our pleasure that the Newark Board of Education 2019 Ultimate Toy Drive benefitting the homeless students in grades K-8 has delivered toys to nine (9) different schools in our district.

- Thirteenth Avenue
Additionally, a holiday toy drive was held at a local venue where colleagues, friends and associates were able to bring donations and partake of the live music, food and the jolly spirit of the season.

NPS Students Travel to the Presidential Candidate Forum in Pittsburgh, PA
Newark Public School students travel to the Presidential Candidates Forum in Pittsburgh, PA with their questions on "Education Equity and Opportunity for All" paid for by American Federation of Teachers. Joining the students was Yolanda Johnson from Parents Educating Parents and the following:
