It is with sincere pleasure and honor that I serve as the Principal at Technology High School. Born and raised in Newark, I know firsthand the importance of a quality high school education plays in our young men and women’s future. As an educator, I understand the critical role that we play in ensuring our students become true ambassadors of hope and goodwill. That is why we hold true to the mission and vision of our school.

Our mission is simple. “We empower unique thinkers by providing a rigorous and quality education that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth for LIFE.” We believe all of our mission components will create well-rounded individuals and prepare them to be competitive in any career they choose.

At the same time, we have our eyes on the future. Thus, our vision is: “We will develop global leaders by providing them with the tools to succeed in a world driven by technology.” We hope the tools will level the playing field and provide our students with the equity they need to ensure a bright future.

Technology High School is so much more than a school. It is an example of the great things accomplished when a group of dedicated adults and students set their minds to achieve greatness. As adults, we set high expectations not only for our students but, more importantly, for ourselves.
