The City of Newark and Essex County have taken note of the exceptional achievements of Kahmiyah Napier, a decorated basketball player from East Side High School. Kahmiyah's remarkable feat of scoring 1000 career points has made history, as she becomes the first girl in the school to do so. Her 1307 points are also exceptional, ranking her as the school's third-highest scorer of all time.
Kahmiyah has been named First Team All-Conference for three consecutive years. Recently, she has achieved her career-high of 50 points per game, making her the second-highest scorer in New Jersey this season. We extend our sincerest congratulations to Kahmiyah for her hard work, dedication, and outstanding contribution to the sport.
