On February 1st, teachers and staff participated in Staff Development Day, which also marked the beginning of Career & Technical Education Month. At Newark Vocational High School, Superintendent León met with over 100 CTE teachers from various schools to celebrate the occasion with a day of learning and CTE month.
Throughout the day, the accomplishments of CTE programs and the importance of CTE for all students were highlighted, along with several professional development sessions. The students and teachers of NVHS prepared delicious cuisine for all the CTE teachers, which was one of the highlights of the day. Newark CTE Teachers are dedicated to "Building Pathways for Success!"
