    Types of Bullying

    • Direct Bullying - physical, verbal attacks, assault, destruction of property.
    • Indirect Bullying - shunning, spreading rumors, malicious practical jokes.
    • Cyber/Electronic - internet technology, social websites, texting, emails.

    Parenting Tips

    • Remain calm and assure your child that they are not alone.
    • Speak with your child and identify dates or frequency of the incident. (Who, What, When & Where)
    • Notify your child’s school immediately by contacting the Anti-Bullying Specialist or School Administrator.
    • File a HIB complaint form to report the incident and submit to the Anti-Bullying Specialist for investigation.
    • Monitor your child’s behavior and request supports from the school (ie. increased supervision, class/seating change, counseling).
    • Attend parent meetings scheduled by the school administrator and Anti Bullying Specialist.

    • Mantenha acalmae garanta ao seu filho/a que nao estásozinho/a.
    • Fale com seu filho/a e identifique as datas ou frequência do incidente. (Quem, O Que, Quando e Onde).
    • Notifique a escola do seu filho/a imediatamenteeentre em contato com umEspecialista Anti-Bullying ou com o Administrador da Escola.
    • Faça queixa preenchendo o formulário HIB, para formalizar o incidente e envie para o especialista Anti-Bullying Specialist para investigação.
    • Vigie o comportamento do seu filho/a e solicite apoio da escola (por exemplo, aumento da supervisão, mudança de turma / assento, aconselhamento).
    • Particie em reuniões de pais marcadas pelo administrador da escola e especialista Anti Bullying.
    Hostigamiento, Intimidation e Acoso

    Tipos de Intimidación

    • Intimidación directa -​ ataques físicos, verbales,asaltos, destrucción de bienes.
    • Intimidación indirecta: ​evitando, difundiendorumores, maliciosos chistes prácticos.
    • Cyber ​​/ Electronic -​ La red a través de la tecnología,sitios de redes sociales, mensajes de texto, correoselectrónicos.

    Consejos para padres

    • Mantenga la calma y asegure que su hijo/a no este solo.
    • Hable con su hijo/a e identifica las fechas o la frecuencia del incidente. (Quien, Que, Cuando y Donde)
    • Notifique a la escuela de su hijo/a inmediatamente y contacte al especialista de Anti-Intimidación o el administrador de la escuela.
    • Presente un formulario de queja de HIB para reportar el incidente y presentarlo al Especialistade Anti-Intimidación para la investigación.
    • Monitoree el comportamiento de su hijo/a y solicite apoyo de la escuela. (porejemplo,aumentodesupervisión,cambiodeclase/asiento, consejería)
    • Asista a las reuniones de padres programadas por el administrador de la escuela y el especialista de Anti-Intimidación.

    Types d’intimidation

    • L’intimidation directe–les attaques physiques, les attaques verbales, l’agression, la destruction de biens.
    • L’intimidation indirecte–éviter une personne, répandre des rumeurs, spreading rumors, les blagues malveillantes.
    • Cyber/ElectronicCyber/électronique–la technologie Internet, sitesweb sociaux, envoyer des SMS, envoyer des email.

    Conseils parentaux

    • Restez calme et assurez à votre enfant qu'ils ne sont pas seuls.
    • Parlez avec votre enfant et identifiez les dates ou la fréquence de l'incident.(Qui, quoi, quand et où)
    • Prévenez immédiatement l'école de votre enfant en communiquant avec le spécialiste de l'intimidation ou l'administrateur de l'école.
    • Déposer un formulaire de plainte HIB pour signaler l'incident et le soumettre au spécialiste anti-intimidation pour enquête.
    • Surveillez le comportement de votre enfant et demandez des soutiens de l'école (par exemple, surveillance renforcée, changement de classe ou de siège, counseling)
    • Assister auxréunions des parents prévues par l'administrateur de l'école et le spécialiste anti-intimidation.
