Malachi Gwyn is a passionate 12th-grade student majoring in cinematography at Arts High School. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Malachi maintains a 4.0 GPA. In addition to his academic achievements, he brings a rich background of athleticism, having excelled as a former Junior Varsity Basketball and Varsity Baseball Player.

Malachi's leadership qualities shine through as the treasurer of the 2023-2024 senior class and his achievements extend to the National Honors Society, where he actively participates as a valued member.

Beyond his academic and athletic pursuits, Malachi is a multifaceted artist. He's an aspiring musician with his music available on various platforms, demonstrating his creative talents and a deep passion for music. As an aspiring director, he has already made his mark by directing captivating short films and parodies.

As the 2023 2024 Student Representative, he aspires to be the voice for every student attending a Newark Board Of Education High School, advocating for the rights and needs of those who deserve to be heard. His mission is to empower and uplift the voices of his peers, ensuring they receive the recognition and support they rightfully deserve.
