Harry Asencio – Williamson College Bound!
Apr 26, 2021
Harry Asencio has spent his entire High School career as a Barringer Blue Bear. His contributions to the school can be seen as you walk through the halls of Barringer. Harry has been a member of the Carpentry CTE Program since his sophomore year. In the program, he has worked on projects such as building sets for the school plays, building the judge’s bench for the Law and Public Safety Program and, most recently during the quarantine for Covid-19, he has helped organize and set up the school’s campus and classrooms for returning students and faculty. His hard work and dedication has been noticed and appreciated by all. Academically, Harry was an Honor Roll student his junior year and maintains a strong G.P.A. He is a regular contributor to class discussions and offers valuable insight to his peers. He believes the education he has received at Barringer has thoroughly prepared him for the next step in his life. He feels he owes a debt of gratitude to his Carpentry teachers, Mr. Gualano and Mrs. Darpino for guiding him on his journey throughout his 4 years in High School. In the fall, he will be attending Williamson College of the Trades to pursue his interests in Carpentry.
