Class of 2020

Dear East Side Family, Please let me take this time to thank everyone for their hard work, perseverance and dedication during the 2019-2020 school year. Certainly ,it wasn't the school year we all expected but we made it happen. Again, let me express my congratulations to the Class of 2020 and their families - I am very proud of all your accomplishments and look forward to future success.  Always remember Once An East Sider Always An East Sider.

Additionally, we are very excited to welcome the Class of 2024. Your decision to come to East Side High School was without exception the right choice for your future. We have something for everyone at East Side High School and it is my expectation that students get involved in your school and make yourself better because of this participation.

My vision for East Side High School is that of becoming a distinguished school and that starts with you. I demand  that students come to school everyday for 100% attendance as well as become scholars in the classroom and legends outside the classroom. We have so many good people here to support you on your journey but parents and students I need your commitment that school comes first- because I want the best for every student -every day. If not you then who to make this happen?

UPDATED: DIPLOMA PICK-UP INFORMATION FOR JUNE 19TH AND 22ND

Hello Seniors,

On Friday, June 19th, seniors with the last names starting with the letters A to L will come to East Side High School to pick up their diploma. If you would like to come wearing your Cap and Gown to take a picture with your diploma, we will have a nice background with balloons set up for you to take the picture. Seniors with the last names starting with the letters M to Z will come to school on Monday, June 22nd.

-Only students will be able to come into the cafeteria entering through Pulaski Street entrance

-Diploma pick up will start at 9:30 am and finish at 12 pm

-Please make sure you have a school ID

-You will be entering in small numbers as all social distancing and prevention measures will be strictly adhered to.

-In order to enter the building, you MUST wear a face mask, gloves, have your temperature taken and follow all social distancing and CDC guidelines.

-You should bring all items to return: Chromebooks, equipment, calculator etc...

Hola estudiantes del grado 12,

El viernes 19 de junio, los estudiantes con apellidos que empiecen con las letras A a la L vendrán a East Side High School para recoger su diploma. Si desea, puede venir con su toga y birrete para tomar una foto con su diploma, tendremos un lindo fondo decorado con globos para que se pueda tomar la foto. Los estudiantes con apellidos que comiencen con las letras M a la Z. vendrán a la escuela el lunes 22 de junio.

-El acceso será permitido solamente a los estudiantes, éstos podrán ingresar a la cafetería entrando por la entrada de la calle Pulaski.

-La recogida de diplomas comenzará a las 9:30 a.m. y finalizará a las 12 p.m.

-Asegúrese de traer el carnet de identificación de la escuela

-Se permitirá el ingreso en pequeñas cantidades; ya que se respetarán estrictamente todas las medidas de distanciamiento social y prevención.

-Para entrar al edificio, DEBE usar una máscara facial, guantes, se tomará la temperatura y seguir todas las medidas de distanciamiento social y bioseguridad de la CDC.

-Debe traer todos los artículos que deba devolver: Chromebooks, instrumentos de estudio, calculadoras, libros, etc.

Olá Seniors,

Esta sexta-feira, dia 19 de Junho, os seniors cujo último nome começa com a letra A até a letra L poderão ir ao East Side High School para buscar o respectivo diploma. Quem quiser pode usar a sua toga e capelo para tirar uma fotografia com o diploma, já que haverá um bonito pano de fundo decorado com balões. Os seniors cujo último nome começa com a letra M até a letra Z virão ao East Side na segunda-feira, 22 de Junho.

- Só alunos poderão entrar pela cafeteria, na entrada da rua Pulaski.

- A entrega dos diplomas começa as 9:30 da manhã e termina as 12:00 (meio-dia).

- Alunos têm que apresentar o seu ID da escola.

- A entrada será feita em grupos pequenos já que serão aplicadas rigorosas regras de prevenção e distanciamento social.

- Para entrar no edifício, TODOS TÊM que usar MÁSCARA e LUVAS. Será medida a sua temperatura e todos terão que respeitar o distanciamento social ditado pelas instruções do CDC.

- Os alunos deverão ainda levar consigo todos os objectos que têm que devolver á escola (Chromebooks, equipamento desportivo, calculadoras, e outros….)

Hello Seniors, Please be advised, on Friday June 5, 2020 cap and gown pick up time has been adjusted. The new pick up time is now 9:30 am until 12:00. Hello Seniors!!

This is to remind you that next week on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 seniors with last names beginning with A-L are asked to come to East Side High School to pick up their cap and gown, diploma cover, and Prom refund (should you be entitled to this).  Please remember to bring your school ID or other form of identification, as well as prom receipt (if applicable).  Seniors with last names beginning with M-Z will come to school on Friday June 5, 2020.

You are asked:

• Enter the school through the Pulaski Street school entrance and go to the cafeteria
• You may begin to come to school starting at 9:30 am
• We will be distributing items until 2:30 pm
• You will be allowed into the building in small numbers as all social distancing and prevention measures will be strictly adhered to
• Please remember to enter the building you MUST wear a face mask, gloves, have your temperature taken and follow all social distancing and CDC guidelines
