East Side High School is the home of the Internship B P L Academy which has fostered student-centered learning since 2009. Over the years, the BPL Academy has functioned as an incubator for innovation in the school. It encourages students to research and personalize their learning. Making that learning related to the real world, as such, it becomes authentic learning. The Academy offers opportunities for students to go beyond the walls or virtual walls of the school and begin the journey to discover who they are as a person, what are their passions, and what guidance do they need to achieve these goals.
