The Science Department of East Side High School is committed to fostering an environment whereby students experience a comprehensive science program that is supportive, engaging, and challenging. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to confidently go forward as productive and scientifically literate members of society.

Mr Agirbaser has been at ESHS for 22 years. He says that the secret to being at east side is having supportive administrators.
He hopes to one day be able to travel with his motorcycle as much as possible.

Ms. Castro enjoys the diverse community ESHS caters to. She connect with her students with whom she shares the same cultural background.
When not forming student connections, she spends her time reading, watching series or documentaries on TV, going to the movies, going out to dinner with family and friends, going to museums and exhibitions in the city.

At ESHS, Ms. Figol believes everyone is family.
She enjoys playing volleyball, skiing, spending time with her family and traveling every chance she get. She has had the opportunity to teach ESL elementary, high school and university level both in the United States and in Ukraine. Ms. Figols is a Ukrainian-American who can speak, read and write in her native language-Ukrainian.
