Mr. Alves grew up in the Ironbound.  East Side High School is located in the heart of our community, representing the different cultures that live amongst us in the Ironbound.  He also graduated from East Side.  Mr. Alves says East Side is his second home.  Hobbies are exercising, playing soccer occasionally with friends.  He spends his weekends visiting his parents and extended family, spending quality time with friends and going out his his wife.

Mr. Hay came to East Side to continue retired 25-year veteran John Dudley's vision of bringing excellent personal finance education and the game of lacrosse to East Side High School.  He plays ice hockey and lacrosse.  Mr. Hay is a broadcaster of high school sports for the NGHS Network.  He coaches for ESHS, Tristate Lacrosse Club, and he volunteers with Urban Exposure Lacrosse, a club dedicated to bringing the game of lacrosse to urban Essex County.
