Better than Broadway: WA’s The Lion King
Help me give my students the opportunity of a lifetime with their production of The Lion King the Disney Musical!
WA was a recipient of the Disney Musicals in Schools programs that works to build sustainable theatre programs. Over the course of 17 weeks, professional Teaching Artists will guide our school teachers through the process of putting together a musical with student performers. For many students at our school, our production of Disney’s Lion King will be their first exposure to musical theatre. For others, this will be the chance to further grow the skills they’ve developed in acting, singing, or dancing. No matter what the role, this is an opportunity for students to be a contributing member of a musical theatre production.
