Weequahic’s Varsity Football Team propelled themselves to the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 1 State finals, beating out many opponents along the way, including their city rivals Shabazz. The players’ perseverance was the determining factor in clinching the State Sectional Championship, with an undefeated 13-0 record.
