Since 1998, the Technology High School Robotics program has been in existence. A long and storied history, the program is a sub-group of FIRST ROBOTICS. Among the many awards earned, Technology students won the esteemed Chairman's Award in 2002 for grace and professionalism. This year under the leadership of Mr. Ford and Ms. Skillern, students hope to win the regional championship and extend their success in the national championship. The robotics team strives for steadfast dedication, solidarity and encourages members to develop a philanthropic approach to the community.

The mission of FIRST ROBOTICS is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
