Technology High School, in conjunction with the Newark Public Schools (NPS), is dedicated to enriching our students' minds/bodies by fostering lifelong wellness practices. Our PE department is committed to improving the individual growth and development of all students through the implementation and assessment of a developmentally-appropriate, sequential physical education program. This program will cover health-related fitness, skills, sports, and dance. Using physical activity as a basis, students will gain autonomy, strong decision-making skills, and learn positive benefits of choosing a healthy lifestyle, nutritious diet, weight management skills and lifetime activities.
