The School Leadership Council (SLC) is a valuable entity of South 17th Street School. The SLC's purpose:

• is to advise and assist the administration in restructuring and redirecting the staff, faculty and students at South Seventeenth Street School
• to advise on Programs and Policies pertaining to the organization and operation of the Teams
• to monitor and make recommendations concerning all School Leadership Council Programs
