This the first time this year students were able to participate in a Virtual Lab with the materials in front of them. Students investigated how different objects either cause light to be absorbed, reflected, or transmitted and sometimes all three through an object! Students will construct their very own Pepper’s Ghost Stage to see how light reacts between a sheet of plexiglass and a small object to determine how the properties of light (absorption, reflection, transmission)can affect what our eyes see.
