It is the goal of the Newark Public School District to offer an Early Childhood educational program in every Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade School, including both new and renovated buildings. The facilities plan has been designed to have an equal number of Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms in each building; this configuration will allow Pre- Kindergarten enrollment to be approximately seventy percent of the Kindergarten population.
