We have been working hard all summer to plan for a safe return to school and to implement best practices to mitigate the risks associated with Covid-19. Our classrooms have been modified to increase social distancing and signage has been installed throughout the building to guide students in an effort to further ensure safety measures. For more information, please see Newark Board of Education’s safe return plan on our district’s website.

At the heart of my practice is building strong relationships with the staff, students, and families I serve. I look forward to listening to your ideas and expectations of our school and collaborating with each of you to support our sense of community here at Michelle Obama Elementary School. As your Principal, I will strive to ensure that all families feel welcome and connected to our school family.
