What a wonderful Saturday on Michelle Obama Elementary School’s playground. April 24th was the first meet and greet session for new staff and families. Principal Gilliam, staff, and families spent time connecting with one another while the students enjoyed the festivities centered around the core values: Community, Leadership, and Wellness. Students were engaged in literacy and math games, science experiments, physical exercise, yoga, and music and movement. The joy was contagious.
