On November 18, 2021 we welcomed over Alumni Association to the Malcolm X Shabazz High School for Alumni Day 2021! Joined by various alumni, Ambassador Shabazz, and Superintendent Leon we are pleased to report that we had an amazing day.

You could feel their energy and excitement as the marching band welcomed current and former students into the auditorium. As part of the presentation, notable alumni and gospel music icon Dr. Emily "Cissy Houston" was inducted into the Malcolm X Shabazz Bulldog Hall of Fame. In addition, the A. Joseph Jackson II Community Service Award was presented to alumni and current marching band director Mr. Rasheed Sheffield.
