The LMM community is proud to announce the donation of 36 brand new instruments to our music program as the recipients of this year’s Save the Music Grant.  The nationally recognized arts organization Save The Music Foundation will supply Marin with instruments including trumpets, trombones, flutes, clarinets, alto saxophones, and percussion instruments.  Students 5th-8th grade will have the opportunity to learn and perform on these instruments as part of the LMM Concert Band, one of the newest ensembles offered by Marin music teacher Mr. Joseph Bergen.

Additionally the ASCAP Foundation and Alfred Music are generously supplying instructional method books to each student as well as a one year subscription to the online music resource Smart Music.  Students interested in joining the LMM Concert Band or any of our other new ensembles can receive more information by filling out the music ensemble interest form. 

We are thrilled to receive this grant which would not have been possible without the hard work and vision of our principal Mr. Montalbano, Vice Principal and advisor of related arts Mr. Colon, and the entire admin team and school staff!  We look forward to bringing amazing music offerings to our students, school, and community this year!
