Parents of students of Lafayette Street School are members in the Home and School Association. The responsibilities of the Home and School Association are:

• To provide a vehicle for promoting communication and cooperation between the school and home.
• To conduct fundraising projects to supplement educational activities for students.
• To foster a better understanding of the goals and spirit of public education in the school and community.
• To influence public opinion and support federal and state legislation for the benefit of public education.

All families are encouraged to participate fully in the Home and School Association.
