My name is Marqese Singleton and I am the Parent Liaison for Hawthorne Avenue School.  My job is to act as a mediator between the parents, school, and community.

It is beneficial for schools and family to work together in support of learning.  Becoming acquainted with the school and playing an active role in your child’s education improves the chances of success.  Studies show that students typically perform better in school when there is parental involvement.  We will be having workshops, meetings, and school programs for parents and students.  Please come out and support the students, school, and community.
