WHAT IS MAP GROWTH?

 

Dear Dr. Horton Family,

This post will help you prepare your child to take the MAP Growth test. Please be available at the following times to support your child’s testing: 

Beginning Monday, February 8th 

 

Test Preparation

Prior to Test Day

    1. Make sure your device has an internet connection
    2. Disable pop-up blocking on your internet browser
    3. Make sure your device meets testing requirements using the Device Readiness Check
    4. Watch the MAP Growth introduction video
    5. Practice the test at practice.mapnwea.org
        (Username: grow, Password: grow)
  • Make sure you have a way to communicate with the teacher/proctor during the test

On Test Day

    1. Minimize distractions for your child as much as possible
  • Students must have their cameras on in order for their tests to be considered valid.
  1. Provide a quiet testing environment. 
  2. Allow the teacher/proctor to open the session first
  3. Log in at test.mapnwea.org
  4. Follow any additional instructions from the teacher/proctor

Examen de preparación

Antes del día de la prueba

  1. Asegúrese de que su dispositivo tenga una conexión al Internet
  2. Deshabilite el bloqueo de ventanas emergentes en su navegador de Internet
  3. Asegúrese de que su dispositivo cumpla con los requisitos de prueba mediante la verificación de disponibilidad del dispositivo
  4. Vea el video de introducción de MAP Growth
  5. Practique el examen en practice.mapnwea.org

(Nombre de usuario: grow, Contraseña: grow)

  • Siga las instrucciones adicionales del maestro / supervisor
 El día de la prueba

  1. Minimice las distracciones para su hijo tanto como sea posible
  2. Los estudiantes deben tener sus cámaras encendidas/visibles para que sus pruebas se consideren válidas
  3. Proporcione/prepare  un entorno/ambiente  silencioso/tranquilo para la prueba
  4. Permita/espere  que el maestro / supervisor abra la sesión primero
  5. Inicie sesión en test.mapnwea.org
  6. Asegúrese de tener una forma de comunicarse con el maestro / supervisor durante la prueba
