Welcome Camden Parents and Family Members to our 2019-2020 school year!

My name is Ibn Thomas and I am the school Parent Liaison.  I am excited to welcome back our returning Cougars, and the new Cougars that will be joining this year.

My goal as the Parent Liaison is to implement a parental involvement program that ultimately creates an enhanced partnership between the school, the parents, and community. I will facilitate workshops that will help parents to become their own problem solvers and strengthen families. I want to foster an environment in which parents can have direct involvement in their child’s academic achievement. In offering a range of training and activities, we strive to equip our school partners with numerous resources.  These resources include strategies, and skills to support their child’s academic growth, as well as develop a method of enrichment to enhance their own lives.

I hope to see you at some of our amazing workshops and classes that I will be offering this year. These events present you, our proud parents, an opportunity to discover some tools we have made available that can assist your student in becoming the best this academic year.  We must do all that we can to ensure that they are given as many opportunities as possible to attain overall success. These opportunities will be listed on our bulletin boards, and flyers will be sent home to inform parents of events.
