Music

Cleveland School has a very active and enthusiastic music program. Students are engaged in  instrumental music activities with the guitar, violin, drums, and various other instruments. Cleveland's music  department collaborates regularly to showcase student talent in seasonal as well as district sponsored programs.  Cleveland School hosted Little Kids Rock.  Little Kids Rock is an organization  that helps to expand Music Education Programs by providing free  instruments to 1,600 Newark and Jersey students.

Visual Arts

Cleveland  School promotes the development of intellectual, aesthetic, and emotional growth in a structured environment through the study of the visual arts, while fostering critical thinking, and stimulating creativity, imagination, and innovation. Students are challenged to achieve their full potential through individual and collaborative methods to cultivate an engagement with the world.
