This year, Harriet Tubman School celebrates Earth Day with our 4th grade students and partners from the Greater Newark Conservancy. Today's project focused on cleaning up the Harriet Tubman School Freedom Garden by removing 2 bags of litter and learning how to measure, dig, and weed to prep for a sunflower circle. Our scholars really enjoyed volunteering their time and they suggested participating in another garden activity. Today's participants will revitalize the Garden Club for Harriet Tubman School.
