Dear Louise A. Spencer School Community:

It has come to our attention that an individual in our school has tested positive for COVID-19.  The last day that the individual could have come in contact with students, staff, or others at the school was on March 21, 2020.  I know you join me in wishing this person a speedy recovery.

Therefore, based on guidance received from the Newark Health Department, we recommend that you monitor yourself and your family for any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 and seek medical attention as necessary.  In addition, we recommend that everyone follow the CDC guidelines for guarding against the spread of this disease.
