The Quaerentes Veritatem chapter of the National Honor Society was chartered at Science High School in 1978. At that time, the faculty wanted to award students who demonstrated exceptional scholarship, leadership, service, and character with a unique distinction. Our chapter has worked to uphold these four ideals through the years; members participate in monthly service projects to benefit Science Park High School and our community, while maintaining exceptional grade point averages and motivating our peers to strive for excellence. Initiation as a member of the NHS is one of the highest academic honors that a high school student can attain, both within our school and on a national level. We aspire to continue the traditions established by our founding members and to promote new traditions through our commitment to academics and community service.
